An outdoor interactive pop-up fountain that "dances" on command. The 49-head fountain system is built into the ground and offers kids a refreshing way to cool off during hot summer months. Also for our younger guests, a nautically themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea including a lighthouse, dolphin,sandcastle, starfish, crab, turtle and a 9 ft. long shark!

Destin Commons also has a mini-train ride for the kids. Tickets can be purchased for $3.00 at the A.M. Cafe Kiosk at Center Plaza.

Okaloosa County Transit Shuttle service provided by the county offers visitors easy access to Destin Commons from a number of areas. Convenient shuttle drop off and pick up location in front of Destin Commons, right outside Sushi Siam. Call (850) 833-9168 for more information.

Restrooms are conveniently located in Center Court of the Main Plaza and includes a family restroom.

There are over 2700 parking spots available in Destin Commons  In addition, there are 63 parking meters on Main Street  in which the proceeds benefit Destin Commons philanthropic program  "Coins for a Cause" Offering complimentary parking for all visitors which benefits local charities and organizations. A six story above ground parking garage just recently opened on the west side of the property beside Rave Motion Pictures.

There are three ATM locations in Destin Commons located in Center Plaza in front of bebe, Rave Motion Pictures, and Bass Pro Shops.

WHAT IS WI•FI? Wi•Fi, short for wireless fidelity, is a wireless technology used to connect various computing devices to each other over the air. Here at Destin Commons, we have implemented Wi•Fi to enable each of our customer to connect wirelessly to the Internet from any common area within the mall. WHAT DO I NEED TO USE THIS SERVICE? Any Wi•Fi enabled portable device such as a laptop computer or PDA that support standard Wi•Fi 802.11 b or g technologies with a standard Internet browser. In most cases, a wireless (Wi•Fi) network card is built into the device which will alert the user to the availability of a Wi•Fi network. Please refer to your manufacturer’s documentation for further information regarding your specific device.	IS THE NETWORK SECURE? Destin Commons’s Wi•Fi Internet service is a public service available to all Destin Commons customers and is open to anyone who desires to use said service. Is Wi-Fi the same as Bluetooth? No. Bluetooth is a short range wireless technology used to connect mobile phones, computers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and other devices to each other by a process called pairing.Wi-Fi is a wireless technology used to connect devices to a network, such as the internet. What is a Wi-Fi Hotspot? A location in which wireless technology (802.11 b/g) is available for use by users to connect to the internet. Do I need an account? No, the wireless service available at the Destin Commons is a free service for all mall guests. Be sure to connect to the wireless service Destin Commons Guest. What is 802.11x? 802.11x is the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) standard for Wi-Fi. The x refers to the variations of 802.11 usually denoting the wireless speed and/or frequency. The Destin Commons wireless system supports the standards 802.11b and 802.11g. Any device supporting one of these standards will work.	Where is the service available? All common areas throughout the mall. How do I connect to the network? Most laptops and other Wi-Fi devices will automatically detect and display a list of available wireless networks. Select the wireless network Destin Commons Guest. If your device does not automatically detect the presence of the wireless network, then set the SSID on your laptop or device to Destin Commons Guest and be sure all encryption (WEP) is disabled. Once your device is connected, open up your internet browser and you will be automatically brought to the terms and conditions page. Confirm your acceptance of these policies by clicking Accept and you may begin browsing the internet.
