Express will open in the summer of 2012, near Williams Sonoma and Victoria's Secret.

Smoke on the Coast at Destin Commons

Destin Commons will host its second annual Smoke on the Coast BBQ Cook-Off and fireworks festival, Sunday, July 1st from 7 pm – 9 pm! Sample scrumptious BBQ from area teams, while listening to live music on Main Street. The event will also feature: festive art projects, face painting, pirate magic, street dancing, and a fireworks display at 9 pm. Delicious BBQ samples will be donated by area restaurants and cook-off participants, and sold for $1 each. Proceeds will benefit the local chapter of the Fisher House. Sample tickets will be available for sale the day of the event in Center Plaza. Area teams include: 2011 Smoke on the Coast People's Choice winner Valley Crest, Wine World, Hard Rock Café, Poppy's Time Out Sports Bar and Grill, The Shed, Aegean, and Bass Pro Shops. Sweet Water Brewing Company will also be set up in Center Plaza selling specialty craft beers.

DC Kids Zone
Now Open!
DC Kids Zone is now open in front of Sephora, on the south side of Destin Commons. Kids can enjoy bounce houses, games, and rides all summer long during DC Kids Zone hours. Tickets are available for sale at the entrance of the Kids Zone, and can be purchased for $1 apiece. Rides and games vary from 3 – 8 tickets per activity.

RAVE Family Film Festival

Beginning Monday, June 4th, RAVE will begin it's FREE Summer Family Film Festival! Every Monday & Thursday, thru July 19th, RAVE will feature one family friendly, G or PG rated movie. Doors open at 9 am, and shows begin at 10 am. Admission to each event is free and guests will be admitted on a first come, first served basis. Arrive early at 9 am to participate in the FREE movie themed art projects by Abrakadoodle, available in the RAVE lobby. Guests will also receive $1 off a movie meal, during Film Festival movies!
